"Sunsets & Margaritas"

Coming Soon:

"Sunsets & Margaritas"

This book is about Alexandria Thompson, daughter of a famous actor, who is living in Los Angeles working for a major event company.  Her passion though is giving back to the community and the LA lifestyle and her last name doesn't allow her to make genuine friends and the opportunity to make a difference.  She moves across the country to the Jersey Shore for a new job in the event business whose events all give back to the local community.  No one knows she is the daughter of the famous actor and she has built friendships and a career that are finally meaningful.  She also falls in love with Matt, her co-worker who grew up in poverty.  She is afraid to tell him who she really is.  Will he accept that she comes from money and grew up with a backyard the size of Disneyland?  And, will her father ever really be a part of her life?  Or, we will he continue on his road of fame and ego and leave her behind.

Happy to share that "Commuter Bob" is now available.  Here are some details on the story line and a link to buy!  Thanks for your support.  xo Chrissy

Commuter Bob

Bob Henley is a self-proclaimed complainer. By day, the married father of two is a Human Resources professional. At night, he is Commuter Bob, a popular blogger who is famous for shining a pessimistic light on the pains of commuting from New Jersey to New York City. None of his five million Facebook followers knows what Bob looks like and he is determined to keep it that way.

As Bob shares an array of complaints about those who share his daily commute on the train, he humorously describes the erratic behavior of the arm swingers, the unwritten code of silence loyally adhered to by commuters, what it is like to be squished like a sardine in a can, and the agony of train delays. While Bob continues on his journey to stardom, a journalist who is tirelessly working to break his anonymity is never far behind--or so he thinks. Now only time will tell if he can maintain the secrecy behind his posts.
In this lighthearted tale, a mysterious man blogging about the annoyances of his daily commute to New York City must attempt to stay one step ahead of a journalist determined to reveal his identity.
tep ahead of a journalist determined to reveal his identity.

Self-Publishing Month

For this month, Goodreads is doing spotlights on self-published authors,  Be sure to check it out.  I did the self-publishing route but through assisted publishing with Simon & Schuster's self-publishing arm - Archway Publishing.  After a lot of research and trying to get published the traditional way, I found Archway to be a great way to get your work out there but they do most of the work with the publishing and it makes it really easy for you to get published, look great and it's handled professionally.  I am excited to finally submit "Commuter Bob" to Archway for my second fiction book very shortly so stay tuned.  A friend is doing final edits and then it will be on it's way.  Thanks for your support.
